Monday 2/10/2020

In order to get all hours back on the same schedule, we are going to

have a low key Monday.

2nd, 4th and 6th hours will check a worksheet from last week that I collected

but have not had time to grade. (3.4 guided reading Friction and Gravitational Force)

3rd hour is going to finish up a movie we started. "October Sky"

7th hour is going to test their junk jalopies.  Remember if you missed 2 or more of the

4 build days, you will be taking the ch 3 unit test today instead.  I posted a student guide last week on 2/5/20.

If I get the portfolio checklist completed by Monday, we will work on that.

Thursday 2/13/20

Portfolios are due today.  I expect them to be organized in the

order of the checklist.  I also expect them to be in a 3-ring binder.

I also expect them to be ready to go when you WALK THROUGH THE

DOOR!  You do not get time to organize at the beginning of class.

We are going to complete "A Recipe for Traits" activity.  You will match

colored strips of paper "genetic code" to the phenotype key for dogs.

After matching all eight colored strips for each of the eight traits of the dog,

you will draw the dog.  It will be a doggone good time!  WOOF

I do not have a pdf for this activity, sorry.
