Monday 11/4/19

All hours have the portfolio due.  REMEMBER it must be organized.

If it is not organized, I do not care if you have it in a 3-ring binder.

It will be a zero if it is not organized.  It must be organized and ready when you walk through the door.  The checklist was passed out on Thursday and you had the entire hour on Thursday to work on it.  The checklist has been on my web page since Wednesday of last week...so, NO EXCUSES!

We will work on reviewing for the test for the remainder of the hour.  It's tomorrow.

If You Took The Extra Credit, It Is DUE TODAY!

Tuesday 11/5/19

Today is chapter 1 TEST day!  It is 56 questions (30 multiple choice covering atoms, periodic table, bonding and acids & bases.  It is heavy on periodic table and trends.  6 questions that require you to identify the number of valence electrons in a particular family. 10 questions on bonding: Names and formulas of ionic and covalent compounds.  It's a choose A or B question.  15 questions on acids and bases.  You will identify the statement as describing A for acid or B for base.)

The test is not open note.  You will get only this class period to complete the test.

There is a fire drill at 10:10 which is during 3rd hour.  You will need to hustle in and out because I cannot give additional time.

Bring something to work on or read after you finish the test.  If you have prepared, you should have plenty of time to knock it out.
