Monday, January 13

EHS Counselors will be here to fill you in on 9th grade registration during activity period today.  I will hold a question / answer session during science class on Tuesday.

9th grade registration sheets are coming out today during science class.

Important dates:

1. Yellow sheets are due in the main office on or before January 24.

2. Parent seminar at EHS auditorium on 9th grade registration, 1/22/20 from

6-8 pm.  If you have siblings that have already gone through this process, it

is probably not as critical for your parents to attend.

3. Actual registration will be held at Lincoln during the day in one of the

    computer labs on January 30.

Thursday 1/16/20

The 3.2 guided reading is due.

For homework we will complete "Speed Machines" (calculating speed)

YOU MUST SHOW YOUR WORK!  Yes, I know many of you are capable of completing simple computations in your head and it seems silly to write down what you have punched into your calculator; BUT if you do not, you will

lose points.  Anyone can copy someone else's answers. It sounds like I am a suspicious doesn't it?  I would just call it cautious.

I am sorry but I do not have a pdf of speed machines.

UPDATE Since 3rd hour qualified for a party on Friday, they also received the worksheet that the other hours will get on Friday, "Speed Calculations-further work". Again, show your work!! I do not have a pdf file of this worksheet either, sorry.  Both of these will be due on Tuesday.  (Remember there is no school on Monday.)

Friday 1/17/2020

3rd hour will be enjoying a reward party.  Do not forget your work will be due on Tuesday!

Everyone else has....

Speed Machines due.

For homework another speed calculations worksheet, "Speed Calculations- Further Work".  Again, YOU MUST SHOW YOUR WORK!  I am sorry but I do not have a pdf of this worksheet.
